Session 76, part 2
4th of Land’s Blessing
After a full day’s travel, they arrive at the foothills of the central mountain range in Kendra. Glod takes watch, working on translations through the night. He manages to decipher another page:
4th of Land’s Blessing
Thick, gray clouds obscure the summer sunlight as they prepare to head up the mountain pass.
“Well, so much for exceptionally good weather,” Kerwyn says.
After another day of travel, the adventurers arrive in the town of Duvik’s Pass, a small mining village.
“Hey, we’ve been here before. Wonder how things have gone since we left.”
A bit of asking around leads the group to a very small inn. The innkeeper (much younger than most they’ve met so far) shows them to their rooms.
“So how’d you guys make it through the whole goblin invasion?”
“We folks just stayed down in the mines. We keep plenty of provisions down there. Just stayed low, kept a look out… Just a few days back a big group came through, saying they were looking for any goblins round these parts. Goblins thought this was a ghost town, so they didn’t bother staying.”
“Pretty fortunate for you guys then. Most towns didn’t fare so well.”
“So, did that goblin hunting group say where they might be heading?”
“Headed east, said they were heading south after that, probably all the way to Ellia.”
“Well hopefully they can clean up any of the left over scum,” Epona says.
“I suppose we’d better get to bed,” Kerwyn says. “We’ve still got a long journey in the morning.”
“Agreed,” Marlak says.
